Diablo 3 For Consoles
While some of you may believe that Diablo 3 for consoles is made just to cash-in on the name and won’t have the same spirit it does on computer, think again. While the announcement has been made recently, Blizzard had and still has a team of expert who spend day and night on porting Diablo 3 to the consoles without taking anything away from the game, making it the best option for those who want to experience the world of Diablo on a console.
Ever since they appeared, the Diablo games have always been on the PC, from Diablo 1 all the way to Diablo 2: The Lord of Destruction. As you probably already know, Blizzard has scheduled a Diablo 3 release quite soon as a matter of fact, and just like most people expected, it was designed for the PC. However, Blizzard knows that more and more people these days would rather play on consoles rather than on a computer, which led them to create Diablo 3 for consoles.
The Diablo 3 release is one of the most awaited in gaming history since its announcement on 2001. It is the sequel to the very successful Diablo 2 which captured the imagination of its players which got them addicted to the game. By today’s standards, Diablo 2 was a very simple game and yet a lot of people fell in love with it. The set of characters to choose from are very different because four out of the five previous characters were replaced. The druid, necromancer, sorceress and assassin are nowhere to be found in Diablo 3. They are already replaced by a witch doctor, wizard, monk and demon hunter. Only the barbarian class remains the same but the skills are very different already. Another main difference of the game is that both genders are available for both classes already unlike the previous game where only one gender can be chosen. The game interface is similar but it has been improved greatly. If you can score yourself a beta key then you can find out how much better it is from the previous game because you can test the game for yourself.
The events that happen on Diablo 3 happens twenty years after the events of Diablo 2 where the world was saved by unknown heroes. These heroes sadly went mad because of the struggles that they faced which led to a new breed of heroes to save the world. This is the story that is being used to explain why most of the characters have been replaced. The main antagonists of the game are Azmodan and Belial which were lesser evils compared to the ones in Diablo 2. One of these two characters tried to invade Sanctuary which is the world where the Diablo game is set. Though their invasions failed, it caused humanity to worry and because of this, heroes need to eliminate the evil that is attempting to rule Sanctuary. It is also later revealed that though Diablo died in Diablo 2, he will be returning in Diablo 3 in some way. This is what makes the game more exciting for the fans that have waited for so long. It has also been revealed that the story will not end after Diablo 3 as there will be another sequel or an expansion set just like what happened in Diablo 2.
Diablo 3 has been open for beta testing for a while now and a lot of World of Warcraft players got the chance to play the game and be a beta tester. There are a lot of improvements in the game and one of the improvements that people love most is the player vs. player mode which will allow players to test whose character is much better. This part of the game is one of the main reasons for the success of most role-playing games and bringing it to Diablo 3 is definitely a great idea. The game also requires internet connection even for single player modes which gives most players the idea that the game will be more unpredictable and exciting because of the updates that can be done over the internet.
